Equine-Assisted Therapy Terms & Conditions
Welcome to SILVER HORSE Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any equine-assisted therapy sessions. By booking or attending, you (or your parent/guardian) agree to be bound by these terms.
All therapy sessions must be booked in advance and confirmed via our online booking system or email.
For clients under 18 or vulnerable adults, written consent from a parent, guardian, or legal representative is required before participation.
Clients must provide accurate information about physical, emotional, or mental health conditions that may affect participation.
Payment must be made in full before the session unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur the full session fee.
If the Provider cancels due to safety, horse health, or weather, a full refund or rescheduled session will be offered.
Equine-assisted therapy involves inherent risks. Participation is at your own risk.
Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, medications, or mental health concerns before sessions.
The Provider may refuse participation if it is unsafe for the client or the horses.
The Provider follows UK safeguarding legislation and has a duty of care to all clients.
Additional supervision may be required for vulnerable clients.
Any safeguarding concerns will be addressed according to statutory requirements and may involve notifying relevant authorities.
Information shared during sessions is treated confidentially.
Confidentiality may be breached if there is a risk of harm to the client or others, or if legally required.
Equine-assisted therapy is complementary and does not replace medical or psychological treatment. Clients should continue prescribed care and consult qualified professionals.
Follow all instructions from the Provider or staff.
Treat the horses, equipment, and property with respect.
Guardians are responsible for supervising minors or clients needing additional support.
The Provider is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where caused by the Provider’s negligence.
Clients participate at their own risk. Guardians must ensure appropriate personal insurance if required.
Photos or videos may be taken for promotional or educational purposes with prior consent.
Clients or guardians can opt out of media use by notifying the Provider in writing.
Any complaints should be submitted in writing to the Provider.
We will respond within 14 days and aim to resolve issues professionally and safely.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By booking or participating in equine-assisted therapy sessions, you or your guardian confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
